Charlize Theron is one of the biggest names in Hollywood and is no stranger to taking down the odd villain in her blockbusters, but now she has appeared to accept a new challenge.

The Academy Award winner has become known for pulling off a lot of her own stunts, which she talked about during her recent film Atomic Blonde, which WWE star Kofi Kingston believes would see her perform well in world of pro-wrestling.

Theron and Kingston were talking on video link as part of the promotion for her new movie, The Old Guard, when Kingston put the idea forward.

"The fact for you to be able to pick up those moves so naturally, I would love to see you go one-on-one with a Becky Lynch, or like a Sasha Banks. Do you know what I mean?

"Or Bayley, or Charlotte [Flair]! I feel like you would fit right in."

Theron excited about potential WWE match

The hype excited Theron and she did not hesitate to accept a potential match against any of the superstars mentioned.

Although she wasn’t sure how she would go against the professionals.

“Wow, is this an invite? Yes! When and where?

"I know we're in a crisis situation right now, so it's not any time soon," Theron added.

"But that sounds awesome and I will get my ass kicked.

"So that would be really entertaining for everybody to watch because I am a mere actor. But that would be so much fun!"

While the WWE have not yet confirmed anything, it doesn’t appear it would take much more than an invite to get the Academy Award winner into the ring.

No doubt the 44-year-old actress would make a successful switch into the world of pro-wrestling due to her enormous fan base.
