WATCH: School CCTV captures heartwarming moment girl learns she is being adopted

An 11-year-old girl’s reaction to finding out she is finally being adopted is warming hearts across the world.

School CCTV captured the moment Utah student Tannah Butterfield was told the good news by the school’s office manager Jackie Alexander, on behalf of her soon-to-be mum Jennifer Fisher.

“She asked me if I would be sure to tell her sweet girl when she came to my desk for her daily visit,” Ms Alexander wrote.

“She knew she would want to know right away because she had been so worried.”

"She just kept holding me tight, she kept holding me tighter and tighter," Ms Alexander added.

Ms Fisher and her husband will adopt Tannah after fostering her for two years.

"They are just caring, loving, they take really good care of me," Tannah told local media.

"My heart was so happy, it was like, 'Ahhh!' It was screaming."
