Abused husband reveals 'drunk' wife's bloody car key attack
A husband, whose wife repeatedly stabbed him in the head with a set of car keys is speaking out about the horrific domestic abuse in a bid to inspire other men.
Bobby Ray Wilson said he was stabbed “about 10 times” on the side of his head after his “drunk” wife’s furious screams turned into something much worse.
“Blood was just all coming down my face. I already had blood on me before, she busted my nose, busted my lip," Mr Wilson told NewsOn6.
"She's hitting me and assaulting me and she grabs around my shoulders and my neck, and I'm hollering to my roommate, yelling, "Get her off me, get her off me".”
The Tulsa man said he began to call police when his wife threw his phone away and shattered the screen before she turned on his roommate.
Covered in small wounds and scratches, Mr Wilson said he was reluctant to share details of his terrifying ordeal but did so anyway hoping to inspire other men to share their own experiences to prove that domestic abuse goes both ways.
He has now filed a protective order and plans to start regular therapy sessions.
Police officers filed a report of assault with a dangerous weapon for his wife.
