'That other snake's alive': Snake filmed regurgitating whole live snake on Texas roadside
A large black snake was caught on video regurgitating another snake that was still alive as a husband and wife watched on in shock.
Christopher Reynolds was driving with his wife from his mother's place when they spotted the snake expectorating something on the roadside.
"I stopped and backed up to take some photographs," Mr Reynolds wrote on the post to YouTube.
"Nina mentioned I should take some video. I am happy I did."
What started with the trickle of a tail coming from the black snake became a reptile gushing out in its entirety.
Over several seconds the brown snake exits the black snake tail first, the couple watching on amazed by the scene on the roadside near Newton, Texas.

"That other snake's alive," Mr Reynolds said in the video.
When the black snake is finished expelling its dinner it then slithers away, its belly empty.
The dazed brown snake stays put as its predator slinks away, possibly as shocked as the couple who witnessed the beginning of its second chance at life.
