Girl, 11, to become Britain's youngest mother

An 11-year-old girl will become Britain's youngest mother when she gives birth next month.

Due to legal restrictions, the girl can not be identified but it's believed the father of the baby is only a few years older than the 11-year-old.

The current youngest mum in Britain gave birth when she was just 12 years of age and the father just 13.

The duo became the youngest age-combined parents in UK history, with the now toddler being cared for by her 28-year-old grandmother while the mother attends school.

The youngest father in UK history is a boy who became a dad at the age of 12 in 1998.

One-time youngest UK mother record holder Tressa Middleton last month revealed she was expecting her second child, 11 years after she gave birth as a 12-year-old.

That child was taken into care, but Ms Middleton told The Sun she was now in a better head space with her 30-year-old fiance.
