CCTV reveals how four-pawed culprit caused glass shop door to smash into pieces

CCTV footage solved the mystery of how a shop glass door smashed to pieces in a matter of seconds with no culprit in sight.

A Chinese shop owner checked the security recording from a camera which monitored the front door, and caught the trouble-makers in the act.

The six-second video, date-stamped on Monday just after 1pm, shows a black cat scamper past the shop front.

Seconds later, a black dog can be seen chasing after the feline, but during the commotion, the larger, less agile animal slams face-first into the open door's glass panel.

The woofer bounces back from the impact while knocking the door from its hinges and sending it crashing to the ground outside.

Without skipping a beat, the dog scrambles back on its four paws and continues its pursuit, unaware of the path of destruction left in its wake.
