Teenage hunter left speechless after Piers Morgan threatens to kill her cat

A pre-teen girl who hunts wildlife "for fun" has been blasted by television host Piers Morgan on 'Good Morning Britain'.

Aryanna Gourdin, 12, sparked online backlash last week after photos of her smiling and posing with dead animals - including a giraffe - that she had hunted and killed went viral.

Appearing on the show alongside her father, Gourdin explained that she would "never" stop killing animals because of the personal enjoyment she gets out of it.

Gourdin attributed her love of hunting due to the fact it had been in her family for a long time.

"And I really enjoy the taste of the meat we kill," she added.

However, the young hunter was left speechless when Morgan effectively threatened to kill her own cat and post pictures of it online.

“You have a lovely little cat," Morgan pointed out.

"How would you feel if I came to your house one day and I hunted down your pet cat and I killed it and I then posted pictures of me celebrating the slaughter of your pet cat?"

Gourdin's father responded for her: “I think that’s a trick question," he said.

"Because a giraffe’s not a pet. Most hunters don’t kill pets. We would never think to go out and kill somebody’s pet.”

His daughter agreed, asking Morgan: “I’m not allowed to have pets because I hunt?”

However, Morgan was not perturbed by the argument.

"There's nothing tricky about that question," he fired back.

"There's this weird situation where you have all these pictures of these slaughtered animals, and then you have lots of cuddly pictures of this nice cat. An animal's an animal, right?"

"I'm just saying how would you feel if I killed your cat and then posted pictures of me celebrating the killing. Would you like it?"

Good Morning Britain viewers unleashed their opinions on social media after the interview.

"She is a murderer a parasite on Earth," Rachel Fontaine wrote.

Speaking about the death threats she had received after the images went viral, Gourdin said she was "upset" people would value an animal's life over a person's.

"I’m very upset that people would value an animal’s life over another person’s," she said.

"I try to ignore most of the comments I get but I do read some by accident."

"I just try to not let them get to me. It won’t stop me hunting. I will always hunt. It’s something that thousands of people do and it’s never going to stop."

According to Unilad, Aryanna was taken on the controversial hunting trip in South Africa by her father, Eli.

Eli reportedly claimed the giraffe was a ‘problem’ animal that eats up "valuable resources other giraffes need to survive."

The father and daughter have a string of big game kills to their names, including a zebra, an impala, and a giraffe.

During the interview with Morgan, Gourdin and her father both wore t-shirts reading "stand up to anti-hunter bullying."
