Crash throws boy three metres through the air, but he lives to run away
A dash cam company has released video of a young boy’s miraculous survival, after he dashed out between two parked vehicles and into the path of an oncoming van.
The video showed the child on the receiving end of a heavy hit from the vehicle, with the impact throwing him onto the van's bonnet before he tumbles back onto the road.
And then he gets up.
Despite the impact throwing the boy about three metres, according to dash cam maker SmartWitness, he somehow picks himself up and dashes off as quickly as he appeared.
According to a post on the company’s YouTube channel, the video was used to show that the driver of the van that struck the boy could not have avoided the accident.
