At least three people are dead including two "brave officers" following a shooting at a courthouse in the US state of Michigan.
State police confirmed the shooting broke out Monday afternoon at the Berrien County Courthouse.
Three people are dead and a fourth injured, according to local news station WZZM13.
Two court bailiffs and the shooter are dead.
Sheriff Paul Bailey said two "brave officers" took down the shooter who was a suspect in custody.
WBND reports the man reached for one of the bailiffs' guns and opened fire.
"Brave officers were able to come to the rescue and take the shooter down," Bailey told a press conference outside the courthouse.
Sheriff Bailey said he felt "terrible" after hearing his friends had been shot.
"We ask people to pray for the families of the deceased and we will have further information for you as we investigation," he said.
A country deputy and a number of civilians were reportedly injured in the shooting. They are being treated at a nearby hospital.
