Incredible near miss at pedestrian crossing

Dashcam cameras have captured an incredible near miss at a pedestrian crossing in Russia.

Vision uploaded to YouTube on Thursday shows a mother and child leading a pack of pedestrians across a busy intersection in Tver on August 31st.

It's not the only footage of bad behaviour on the road emerging, with dashcam of a drunk mechanic driving a customer's car also released online.

The man's young son begs him to stop as he speeds in the customer's car after admitting to drinking a bottle of wine.

In the distance of the Russian video, a four-wheel-drive can be seen speeding towards the group, in between rows of cars waiting patiently for the group to cross.

The woman only notices the vehicle when it’s mere centimetres away.

As it fly’s past the pair, the drivers swerves to avoid hitting them and the woman grabs her child and pulls them backwards, narrowly avoiding a potential tragedy.

But instead of stopping to see if the pair are okay, the driver simply speeds away, leaving pedestrians gaping in shock.

The video has gone viral online, with more than 50, 000 views.
