Real life 'Christian Grey' forced student lover to throw acid in face of former boyfriend
An Italian millionaire who seduced a student with kinky sex and told her to throw acid in the face of her former lover has been compared to steamy literary character Christian Grey.
The Daily Mail reported that Alexander Boettcher transformed student Martina Levato from a serene young woman into a sex slave who obeyed his every order.
The property broker Alexander Boettcher even got Levato to carve his initials in her cheek to to prove her 'eternal devotion'.
Boettcher insisted on being called 'The King' during sado-masochistic sex games and he would decide what 'his girls' could touch, he did whatever he wanted to them.
But the sex games took a terrifying turn when the couple ambushed Levato's ex-boyfriend Pietro Barbini, hurling acid in his face and attacking him with a hammer.
The incident began when Barbini had begun to receive strange calls from Andrea Magnani - Boettcher’s gym partner, whom he looked up to for years - who had lured him in and arranged to meet him.
Gherardo Barbini was in the car when his son met up with Magnani and told police:
"My son got out of the car to look at the buzzer while I stopped the car further ahead."
“I got out and just before I reached Pietro I saw a man and a woman approaching him from behind."
"This latter had in her hand two containers which she herself threw in my son's face."
From a distance he saw his son tearing his clothes off in a desperate attempt to stop the burning acid that was thrown at him.
Gherardo said he ran toward his son when his son started yelling out, "Run Dad. Get away Dad".
Levato was later arrested that day and when she was questioned by police she claimed the 23-year-old stalked her.
Boettcher and Levato are serving 14 years in prison for their crime where Levato gave birth to their child, Achille.
The baby will be taken away from her and it is said the baby will be put up for adoption.
Prosecutors believe Barbini was not their first victim as the couple are also facing trials for two 'failed'one of them being an attack against a student who was hospitalised for three months and still needs stem cell treatment.
Levato's father told an Italian newspaper his daughter changed over night after meeting Boettcher.
"She changed from a serene girl who was to being in her own world, consumed by jealousy and using steroids to lose weight for him," he said.
"Day by day she has become more fragile."
"She stopped thinking with her head and began to think only of the man she was in love with."
"He brainwashed her."
The Daily Mail quoted a witness at Levato's trial saying during a threesome with the couple while on holiday in Greece in 2014, she and Levato had to submit to Boettcher's will.
"He was known as a hot guy that moved around the Milan scene with huge amounts of cash. But he was also strange: he would show you films with men in hoods throttling chickens," she said.
Alongside the vain millionaire's various number of lovers he was also married to a Croatian model, Gorana Bulog, and police found bondage equipment when they raided his home.
