Very cute vision has emerged of a baby elephant being helped across a road in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Footage shows the young calf collapsed on the bitumen, holding up oncoming cars.

The little elephant looks ready to call it a day when it’s family comes along to give it some encouragement.

A large elephant (presumably one of its parents) begins nudging the young animal, with the help of another calf.

Using their trunks and feet, the elephants push the baby up and then guide it safely to the other side of the road.

The traffic jam cleared shortly afterwards.
