Police waited patiently for almost three weeks for a dealer to pass a major drug stash concealed up his bottom.

Sy Allen, 30, took 23 days to release 44 wraps of heroin and cocaine.

He had initially objected to medical examinations and refused to eat or drink for three days but eventually began taking food.

He remained under constant supervision and had regular checks up from doctors, but refused to accept medical help or go to the toilet, the Mirror reports.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession and intent to supply on March 31 when police intercepted his blue Mercedes in the UK county of Essex.

He denied he was hiding something within his body, but refused to let anything pass his mouth for three days.

Eventually he began eating, but only fresh food and snacks.

He became unwell and was taken to hospital on April 22 where Mother Nature finally took its course.

Doctors retrieved 24 wraps of heroin and 20 wraps of cocaine from Allen's body.

The drugs combined had a street value of almost £1000.

Allen was charged with possession with intent to supply. He pleaded guilty to the charges at Chelmsford Crown Court and was jailed for 32 months.
