Prankster takes plunge during men's Diving World Series final

He may have lacked technique, but you've got to give this guy points for bravery.

This daring intruder interrupted the Fina/NVC Diving World Series with a gob-smacking water-bomb that has spawned a viral internet video.

The intruder evaded security at the London Aquatics Centre, darted up a few flights of stairs to the high board, stripped down to his Speedos and took an almighty plunge into the pool before a guard in hot pursuit could stop him.

The prankster's unexpected leap during the men's 10 metre final was met with a flurry of boos from the crowd before the smug daredevil was escorted out of the pool and away from the event.

The jump, which has gone viral, was filmed by a spectator and shared on YouTube.

The stunt was reportedly the work of serial pranksters Trollstation, a new online comedy channel who specialise in hidden camera pranks, sketches and parodies.
