Man takes Pizza Hut to court over 'hard crouton'

The Tennessee man was eating at a local branch of the restaurant chain when he allegedly broke one of his dentures as he bit into a crouton.
Chattman claimed it was down to the 'excessively hard croutons' the restaurant had 'negligently' served to him.
According to Roane County News, his lawyer said he and his client tried to settle the dispute through insurance, but when negotiations failed, Chattman launched legal action.
The judge saw things his way.
Chattman won $US2400 in compensation and court costs.
