Sheriff has last laugh after man taunts police

Man who taunted police cries in custody

A man who turned himself in to police after commenting on his own wanted photo on Facebook has cried while having his mug shot taken in jail.

Andrew Marcum, from Ohio in the United States, was wanted for a string of offences including assault, abduction and domestic violence.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office uploaded a photo of him on social media in the hopes of tracking him down.

They received hundreds of responses, including one from Marcum himself.

"I ain't tripping half of them don't even know me," he wrote on the photo.

His comment prompted a hilarious reply from Sheriff Richard Jones that quickly went viral.

Marcum handed himself in to police 24 hours later.

Authorities then released another photo that showed the 21-year-old in tears while having his mug shot taken.

"Is it raining outside or is he teared up. Tough guys sometime sensitive," Sheriff Jones wrote on twitter.
