Boy re-enacts James Foley beheading in sickening Twitter images

Islamic extremists have sparked worldwide outrage after making a child pose for photographs while re-enacting the beheading of American journalist James Foley.

The child is pictured holding a large knife while posing in front of the black flag of jihad – which has become a symbol for the Islamic State (IS).

The abhorrent images were uploaded to a Twitter account called Time Of The Caliphate which allegedly belongs to an IS supporter.

Along with the pictures a message was posted which read: “Teach your children to cut necks, tomorrow there will be a lot of rotten heads.”

The little boy has his face shrouded in a black face mask and uses a blonde doll dressed in orange overalls - similar to those worn by Foley when he was gruesomely executed - while also reminiscent of those worn by detainees at America’s notorious Guantanamo Bay detention camp.

The boy is photographed holding the doll by its hair, before a second image posted with the head having been removed.

Graphic stills from the video of Mr Foley’s execution were also posted on the account.

The disturbing pictures come after Australian terrorist Khaled Sharrouf posted an image of his seven-year-old son holding a decapitated head in Syria alongside the caption: “That’s my boy.”

It has been reported that children as young as 13 are being recruited by IS in Iraq and Syria.
