Fisherman flees boat after marlin jumps in

A fisherman has had the fright of his life and jumped from a boat after a marlin decided to hop in.

The frightening moment was caught on camera and has become a viral sensation.

The fisherman was attempting to dodge the marlin's long and pointy nose as it leapt into the boat, nearly piercing the man.

A second fisherman strapped to a chair with the fishing pole was also quickly freed as the fish flopped its way around the boat.
