Woolworths unveils exclusive new treats just before Christmas
With just over a week before Christmas, Woolworths has unveiled a last minute line of limited edition Christmas treats.
On December 18, Woolworths will stock the shelves with 16 new and exclusive treats, which can only be picked up in-stores.
The new items - which compliment the previous 23 Christmas treats Woolworths released last month - will be in stock from Friday and customers will be able to find them by looking for the pink ‘‘Just in time for Christmas’ sticker.
One of the new items is a Christmas Croquembouche, which is handcrafted, Australian-made and described as: “a delectable tower made of white choc coated profiteroles, buttercream, and sprinkled with pistachios and raspberry flavoured crisps”.
For Christmas lunch Woolworths is offering items including the Gold Free Range Boneless Chicken Roast with Cranberry and Almond Stuffing and a Gold Pork Rack Roast with Native Australian Davidson Plum and Apple Stuffing.
“From savoury meat centrepieces to a jaw dropping tower of white choc profiteroles, we’ve done the time consuming prep for customers so they can spend less time in the kitchen and more time sharing delicious food with loved ones,” Woolworths Director of Buying Paul Harker said in a statement.
“We’re encouraging customers to be quick as we know these Christmas-infused products will be flying off the shelves across the busiest days of shopping in our stores for the year.”

Emphasis on Australian Made items this Christmas
Following the devastating bushfires and the global coronavirus pandemic, Australian shoppers have been more concerned than ever about purchasing Australian made products.
Woolworths’ Gold range is made entirely in Australia and uses native ingredients and of the 16 new products, 15 of them are Australian Made.
“Customers have made it increasingly clear they care more about buying Australian made products this Christmas following the extraordinary circumstances of the last 12 months,” Mr Hacker said.
