Shoppers freak out over free $99 coffee machine at Woolies
Shoppers and coffee-lovers are going crazy for a deal some say is too good to miss.
Woolworths is offering up a free coffee machine - normally valued at $99 - and all you have to do to get it is buy six of the 12-pack Espressotoria Vittoria capsules.
The deal, which runs until January 1, 2020, means you are basically getting the actual coffee machine and the capsules ($8.40 each) to go with it for just $50.40.
Excited shoppers have taken to forums online and Facebook to rave about the deal, which one man said even the staff at his local supermarket weren’t aware of.
“I’ve been using the pods for a while and the coffee isn’t too bad. The machine scanned at $99.99 then full price reduction,” a man wrote on OzBargains.
“The staff at the till didn’t know about the deal. I’m not sure how to post pictures yet but thought I’d let you guys know.”
“I purchased one today. Mmm got to love a bargain,” another person shared on Facebook, before adding the one downside was the milk frother had to be purchased separately.
With a one year warranty, the machine’s features include a 1.0 litre removable water tank, a 'programmable' pour function for two cup sizes, removable drip tray and can heat up from standby in just 30 seconds.
The deal is available in stores and online.
The supermarket giant is well known for having a great range of weekly half price specials.
Plenty of gift chocolates are still selling for 50 per cent off in the lead-up to the Christmas season, inclusing Lindt Gourmet Truffles 207g: $10, Toblerone milk 700g: $10 and Cadbury Favourites 570g: $10.
They’re also offering half price off Blackmores Glucosamine tablets 1500mg 180-pack: $25, Colgate Pro Clinical 250R electric toothbrush: $20 (better than half-price) and the Tontine anti-bacterial pillow 2-pack: $12.
