Women caught on dashcam brawling in shocking case of road rage

Police and the government are urging drivers to control their temper after yet another appalling case of road rage.

This time it was two women in Western Sydney, one savagely belting the other following a minor collision.

Witnesses say the fight broke out when one car allegedly went into the back of the car in front.

Another driver’s dash cam caught the onslaught as a shocked schoolgirl watches on.

It happened at the end of school drop-off on Tuesday morning, across from the gates of Mount Pritchard Public School.

The roadside attack began with hair-pulling, then blow after blow, before another driver hauls the aggressor away.

“I was concerned for this female who was calling for help,” the witness said.

“I was worried that she was going to get hurt.”

Their actions had the NSW Roads Minister Melinda Pavey shaking her head and calling the behaviour “horrifying.”

“We’re a civilised country, just please, get some perspective,” she said.

In New South Wales, road rage is on the rise, with charges of “predatory” or “menacing” driving increasing from 174 in 2014, to 279 last year – a 60 per cent increase.

In May , a sickening attack at Frenchs Forest saw the driver punched unconscious.

A similar incident left another driver unconscious just two weeks ago.
