Woman's clever disguise to hide her identity after winning lotto

A woman who scooped a whopping $1,860,000 on the lottery has tried to hide her identity in a truly peculiar fashion.

The lucky winner, who pocketed the giant sum after winning Jamaica’s Super Lotto jackpot on May 11, rocked up to her winning press conference on Friday wearing a giant winking emoji mask.

The woman, who as part of licensing laws was named as N.Gray, posed for a series of photos with her giant cheque while keeping her face well hidden behind the iconic smiley.

“I am elated, because I was drowning in debt,” she told Jamaican news site The Gleaner.

She revealed the win came just at the right time after struggling with debts and said she can’t wait to head on holiday.

Kingston-based gaming and lottery company Supreme Ventures Limited said her mask was chosen by members of the public and was picked from a series of masks including those from hit movies Scream and Ironman.

Many users on social media suggested the expression of the mask most likely matched hers underneath while some even speculated the winner had taken her disguise further by adding a curly wig.
