Woman's body found washed up on Sydney beach

The body of a woman has washed up on North Cronulla beach in Sydney’s south.

A passer-by made the grim discovery of the body about 5am on Wednesday.

Dane Wheeler was on his morning walk when he discovered the body.

“Three cars and a couple of ambulances had just rolled in as I walked by, I think paramedics head down the stairs to check on the body but it was pretty clear that there’s wasn’t much doing,” Mr Wheeler told 2GB.
