Woman vanishes minutes after calling for help from family cabin

A woman has disappeared just 13 minutes after she made a phone call for help from her family cabin in the US state of Michigan.

At 2.45am on October 17 (local time) Michigan state police reported that Adrienne Quintal called an unknown party from her family cabin to ask for help.

That person then called police, who made their way to the cabin.

When officers arrived at the location at 2.58am, there was no sign of Ms Quintal but they found ‘possible evidence of foul play’.

Family and friends have not heard from the 47-year-old woman, who also goes by the name “Ada”, since she made the call for help.

Authorities have told The Detroit News they are unsure if the woman is voluntarily missing or in danger.
