Police are hunting for three men after a young woman was stabbed in the torso in Sydney's southwest.

A young woman has been stabbed in the torso in Sydney's southwest, with police searching for three males.

Emergency services were called to Woodbine shortly after midnight following reports an 18-year-old woman had been stabbed with a small knife.

Police on Friday said they would like to question three hoodie-clad males believed to be in their mid to late teens.

The woman was taken to hospital and will undergo surgery for her non-life threatening injuries.
