Woman shaving her legs at hotel pool sparks outrage

Footage of a woman shaving her legs at a hotel swimming pool next to playing children has sparked furious debate online over hotel etiquette.

A short clip of the woman’s behaviour was uploaded to Reddit on Sunday, showing the woman perched on the pool’s edge with a razor in hand at the hotel, reportedly in Florida, US.

She can be seen raising her leg on a step before removing hair – just metres from children playing in the water.

After several strokes of her leg, she dips the razor in the water before returning to finish off her calf.

The post online was swamped with users having their say on the matter, with many slamming her “disgusting” behaviour.

If public pools have taught me anything, it’s that people are disgusting animals,” one user wrote.

“I used to work at a public pool and for whatever reason they attract the worst of humanity,” another said.

“That is so f****** disgusting. Imagine the inadvertent gulp of water that sometimes happens when you’re swimming with all the shaved hair in it,” one user imagined.

Others questioned why the hotel management appeared to be allowing her to continue shaving her legs.

“I’d give her a lifetime ban from the hotel,” one comment declared.

While some even suggested her grotesque act would eventually backfire, with the chlorinated water irritating her freshly-shaved legs.

But it wasn’t just the woman in question who came under fire from the internet, with swimmers blasted for doing nothing about it.

“And why are people still swimming and just casually filming?! one user questioned.

The clip has since gone viral, receiving over 54,000 upvotes while garnering more than 1600 comments.
