Woman sent mortifying letter from real estate agent

A woman recovering from surgery has received a mortifying letter from her real estate agent addressing a rather awkward noise complaint.

A mother, from Sussex in the UK, shared a picture of the note her daughter received on March 10.

"This is a rather delicate matter but I have been asked to approach you as you are disturbing your neighbours with what sounds like noises of a sexual nature, which they can hear quite clearly day after day. In the morning and in the evening," the note said.

"Also, what sounds like the headboard banging against the wall. They would be most grateful if you could put something between the headboard and the wall, and also make less noise as they find it extremely embarrassing.

"As you can imagine this is not a letter I relish sending, but feel that you maybe are not remotely aware that you can be heard."

Mum hits out at inaccurate letter

The mother who shared the note said on Twitter there was no accuracy in the letter whatsoever.

"My daughter had back surgery two weeks ago and doesn’t have a headboard," she said.

"How it made us laugh."

Many others were also amused by the letter, expressing sympathy for the real estate agent who had to pen it.

"How awkward must the agent have felt having to write that and send it out," one said.

Others however, felt bad for the neighbours.

"I can feel for your neighbours, we had neighbours like that, it ruins your sleep," another commented.

"My neighbour upstairs was similarly noisy. A different neighbour dropped a note to him saying, 'the walls are like paper'," somebody else added.
