Woman reveals hilarious Christmas prank on unsuspecting dad
A woman has revealed how she performed an epic Christmas prank on her dad by replacing his entire box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates with brussels sprouts.
The woman tweeted step-by-step pictures of the prank coming to fruition as she swapped her old man’s favourite treat with a healthy alternative.
The prank began two Christmases ago when London-based woman Judy Brown brilliantly executed her “sprout prank”, but decided to give her father a reprieve last year.
Thinking his daughter’s pranking days were behind her, the unsuspecting man unwrapped the gold foil this Christmas and shoved the chocolate ball in his mouth. But to his horror, he quickly realised he wasn’t munching on a choc-hazelnut treat, but a sprout that had been merely dipped in chocolate and nuts as a ruse.
Some of you out there may recall that in 2016 I played an excellent Christmas prank on my long-suffering Dad. It worked a treat. pic.twitter.com/srfaVgLF2J

Ms Brown tweeted how she upped the anti with this year’s epic trick.
“Yesterday, home for Christmas and with the devil at my elbow, I embarked on my most audacious sprout prank yet,” she tweeted.
The daughter demonstrated how she meticulously dipped the brussels sprouts in melted chocolate and chopped nuts, to replicate the Fererros. She then carefully placed the imposters in the original clear plastic box, glued the label back on, and hid the real ones.
While he was out I dipped the sprouts in chocolate, rolled them in chopped hazelnuts, and did all I could to replicate the iconic Ferrerro. pic.twitter.com/UgvLOXeXWJ

“I re-wrapped and (this is crucial) re-sealed the box with its original tape and a tiny dab of glue. Then secreted it amongst a bag of tasty gifts from my Aunt and retired to watch from afar,” she wrote.
“He opened. He EXAMINED. He unwrapped. He examined FURTHER. Fears allayed, he popped the whole thing in his mouth.
“His face played a symphony of emotions: satisfaction, triumph, smugness, consternation, confusion, realisation, horror, disgust.”
While she admitted the prank produced hilarious results, she feared her dad’s “retribution will be swift and terrible” – but said it would be well worth it.
I am still chuckling. I will all day long. I know his retribution will be swift and terrible, but no Christmas gift could be greater than this: seeing my Dad, despite his efforts to avoid it, unwittingly eat a raw sprout. Merry Christmas, one and all. pic.twitter.com/RYV6pvYqbe
