Terrifying moment strangers chase woman through car park before 'assault, robbery'

Two teens have been charged for allegedly assaulting and robbing a woman in southeast Sydney.

A 21-year-old woman was walking to her vehicle in a carpark on Mount Olympus Boulevard, Wolli Creek, on Sunday about 11.20pm when two males demanded her handbag, police said.

CCTV vision, obtained by Nine News, shows the woman trying to flee the pair.

She’s flung to the ground and dragged by her bag.

According to police, one of the accused kicked her in the stomach until she let go of it.

The pair then ran from the carpark into Spark Lane and left the scene.

Security contacted police while the woman was hospitalised at St George Hospital with minor injuries to her stomach and back.

Two boys, both aged 14, were arrested on Monday night and charged with robbery in company.

They both faced Campbelltown Children’s Court on Tuesday and neither applied for bail.
