Woman missing after escaping terrifying kidnapping attempt

A desperate search is underway for a woman missing after she escaped a terrifying kidnapping attempt on the Central Coast.

NSW Police said in a statement there are concerns the woman could be injured after the Saturday morning ordeal on Boondilla Road at The Entrance.

According to police, the woman was sitting in a parked Holden Tigra about 4am when two men jumped on it, damaging the windscreen and bonnet.

The woman was then pulled from the car and dragged towards a nearby hatchback.

She managed to break free and escape.

The two men fled the scene and the woman was last seen walking north on Ocean parade, however, she hasn’t been seen since.

A crime scene was established and has been forensically examined.

The woman is described as Caucasian, about 160 centimetres tall with a medium build and dark hair.
