In an arrest affidavit obtained by News 6, Boone said they both thought it’d be funny if Mr Torres got into the bag. She then zipped him up inside but police allege she left him for hours on purpose.

Boone told police she had been drinking and fell asleep. She then claims she woke, remembered Mr Torres was in the suitcase and found him dead.

She then called her ex-husband and when he arrived and found Mr Torres’s body he suggested calling emergency services.

But police said one of two videos on Boone’s phone show her zipping up Mr Torres into the bag as he protests.

A second video is said to show the bag with Mr Torres inside as though it had been moved.

Boone told police she doesn’t remember filming them.

Mr Torres was also found with bruising on his eye, a laceration on his lip and scratches on his back.
