Woman killed in two-car crash in Adelaide's north
A woman has been killed after a two-car crash in Adelaide's inner north.
The 40-year-old woman was driving a Holden station wagon when it collided with a Ford Mustang at Windsor Gardens on Saturday night, closing North East Road for several hours.
She died at the scene.
The Mustang driver, a 22-year-old man from Ottoway, was uninjured despite pictures showing his car's front with extensive damage.
The man was arrested and charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He will face court on May 31 after being granted bail.
The Windsor Gardens' woman's death brings South Australia's 2023 road toll to 35, up from 16 at the same time last year.
