Passengers and flight crew wearing face masks can be seen watching as the woman starts to move down the aisle.

Passengers can be heard discussing if they should start clapping.

When several people begin to applaud, the woman turns around and snaps at the crowd.

“You can clap all you want,” the woman can be heard saying.

“Just leave. We have flights to get on,”a passengers yells out.

The airline requires all passengers over the age of two years old to wear a face mask in “all areas of the airports at which American operates,” which includes onboard, terminals and club lounges.

Face coverings are only permitted to be removed if you are eating or drinking.
