Woman falls onto highway from moving car while filming Snapchat video

A woman has somehow survived falling out of a moving car onto a motorway while filming a Snapchat video.

The woman was “hanging out of the car” while filming on the M25 in Greater London on Saturday, Surrey Police said.

“She then fell out the car and into a live lane,” police said.

“It is only by luck she wasn’t seriously injured or killed.”

Some parts of the M25 have speed limits of up to 110km/h.

On Twitter, people were appalled by the woman’s recklessness.

“The worst thing about this is that had she been hit - the poor driver who hit her would have to live with that for the rest of their life,” one woman tweeted.

“No one expects to be dodging human bodies on a motorway and an emergency stop may have caused a serious pile up and further loss of life.”

Others hoped she walked away, albeit safely, but having taken something from her near miss.

“She learned her lesson, but at least she's okay,” one woman tweeted.
