A man has been charged after allegedly running a woman off a road north of Brisbane in a suspected domestic violence incident.

Police allege that a 29-year-old man was driving a Volkswagen Gold “erratically” along Buchannan Road in Morayfield at 8.20am on Saturday when it crashed into the back of a Holden Commodore with a 31-year-old female driver inside.

The impact forced both drivers off the road before the Bellmere woman managed to drive off to a nearby service station to call for help.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the silver 2008 Volkswagen Golf, with Queensland registration 007GW2, driving erratically between 8am and 9.15am to immediately come forward.
