A 58-year-old woman has died after a car rolled back onto her while she was looking for something in the boot in Sydney’s northwest.
The woman had been a passenger in the car when she and the driver got out and were searching the back of the vehicle when it rolled back and hit them.
The driver, a 32-year-old woman, and the passenger were both hit as the car rolled backwards in Castle Hill on Sunday afternoon.

Police were told the driver stopped 20 metres south of the intersection of Excelsior Road when the woman and her passenger got out of the Mazda CX7.
The older woman died at the scene and the driver was taken to Westmead Hospital for testing.
