A female passenger is in a critical condition after a bus crash near Byron Bay which left a dozen people hospitalised.
There were 16 passengers on board when the bus crashed at Mullumbimby on Saturday night.
A 28-year-old woman from Darlinghurst in Sydney is in a critical condition in Lismore Base Hospital with spinal, chest and facial injuries, NSW Police said on Sunday morning.
Five other passengers were taken to Tweed Hospital, four were rushed to Byron Central Hospital and two more were transferred to Lismore Base Hospital.
The 56-year-old driver returned a negative roadside breath test.
