Woman charged over fatal Vic hit-run

A woman faces multiple charges including dangerous driving causing death over a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of an elderly man in Melbourne's southeast in 2017.

Detectives on Wednesday charged a 32-year-old Clayton woman following the December 14 crash at Oakleigh, which killed a 77-year-old man.

She was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday, charged with dangerous driving causing death, failing to stop after an accident, failing to render assistance after an accident, driving whilst suspended and careless driving.
