A man and a woman are recovering in hospital and a second woman is in custody following an apparent stabbing attack on the NSW Central Coast.
Police and ambulance crews found the victims suffering multiple wounds after being called to an address on Lake Haven Drive at Kanwal about 9.30pm on Saturday.
The 28-year-old man and 31-year-old woman were treated at the scene by paramedics before being airlifted to Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital.
Police said on Sunday, their conditions were stable.
With forensics experts examining the residence, inquiries by detectives resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old woman at a home unit in Wyong shortly after midnight on Sunday.
She has since been charged with two counts of wounding a person with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm.
Police believe the man and accused woman are known to one another.
She was refused bail to appear before Newcastle Bail Court on Sunday.
