Woman blows seven times legal limit
A South Australian woman’s licence has been suspended after allegedly testing almost seven times the legal alcohol limit.
South Australia Police were called to Golden Grove Rd in Adelaide after a woman stopped in her car in the middle of the road about 7pm on Tuesday.
Police allege the woman recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.339. The legal blood alcohol reading limit in South Australia is 0.05 per cent, meaning she exceeded the limit nearly seven times.
The same evening, the Adelaide woman’s licence was suspended and her car was towed away; the vehicle will remain impounded for one month.
