Woman assaulted by masked attacker in Adelaide

Investigations are continuing into the alleged sexual assault of an Adelaide woman by a masked attacker.

About 7am on Friday, the woman was walking along a path in wetlands at Munno Para, north of Adelaide, when she was hit in the head with an unknown object and sexually assaulted.

The suspect, a man wearing a black mask across the lower half of his face, then ran from the area.

The woman was treated for her injuries at hospital and later released.

The Suspect is described as about 170cm tall with a tanned complexion and a medium build.

At the time of the assault he was wearing a hooded jumper and dark-coloured pants.

He spoke in a foreign language and also English with an accent.
