Woman abused and stalked in frightening road rage attack

A woman is scared for her family’s safety after a frightening case of road rage.

The community nurse was subjected to shocking abuse and stalked for four kilometres from the intersection on Canterbury Road in Kilsyth, about 36 kilometres east of Melbourne’s CBD.

The incident was caught on camera.

“I’ll f**cking ram you off the f**king road,” the road rage man can be heard saying in the video.

“When a green light says f**king go, you don’t sit at the f**king intersection for ten seconds.

“And get on a f**cking diet.”

Community nurse Ebony Railton was on her way home from work when another driver began yelling abuse.

“He’s wound the window down and screamed slurs at me,” Ms Railton said.

“It made me extremely concerned; I was in shock to begin with.”

Ms Railton says the man started stalking her at an intersection, because she took 10 seconds to go after the lights turned green.

He then tailgated her for nearly four kilometres to her house.

“It’s quite concerning that he knows where I live and that anything’s possible,” Ms Railton said.

“He could damage my car, he could damage my daughter, my family.”

Police are investigating the incident.

They say the best way to deal with road rage is to not engage, to drive directly to a police station or contact triple zero.
