A 74-year-old woman has died in a car crash south of Brisbane.
Police say it appears the woman was the only person in the car when it crashed into a fence at an intersection in Regents Park just after 1.30pm on Friday.
The woman, who is from Regents Park, was declared dead at the scene a short time later.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the crash or who has any information to come forward.
It follows the death of a 58-year-old woman in a head-on collision on Queensland's Fraser Coast.
Two men have been airlifted to separate hospitals after the crash on the Bruce Highway just south of Tiaro at 7.20pm on Thursday.
Police said the woman, who was one of the drivers, died at the scene.
Her 60-year-old male passenger was flown to a Sunshine Coast hospital and was in a stable condition, according to RACQ LifeFlight Rescue.
The 28-year-old man behind the wheel of the other car was taken to a Brisbane hospital.
