Woman, 58, charged over NSW drug ring

A Sydney woman has been charged over an online drug operation that supplied prohibited substances across NSW.

Police had arrested two men and seized a significant quantity of steroids and other prescribed restricted substances in September as part of an investigation into an online supply chain.

The seizure included over 5000 vials, 100kg of powder and 100,000 tablets in addition to a firearm, mobile phones and computers, police said on Wednesday.

Strike Fore Bribaree investigators arrested a 58-year-old woman at a property at Bella Vista on October 16 and she was charged with various offences, including supplying a prohibited drug and participating in a criminal group.

She was given conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
