Several planes -- including a Lancaster bomber and several Spitfires -- flew on over southwest London giving tennis-watchers an extra thrill. Ranking record -- Serena Williams was the lowest-ranked player ever to reach a Wimbledon quarter-final. Her ranking is 181. Spot the top seeds -- For the first time in Wimbledon history, no woman from the top 10 seeds reached the quarter-finals. Ostapenko solo -- Jelena Ostapenko is the last remaining of the 10 junior Wimbledon champions who began the tournament.
