The final night of the Sydney Royal Easter show has erupted in chaos after a fight involving several teenagers broke out in the carnival area.
Footage uploaded to social media and published by Sydney radio station 2GB showed a group of women fighting, with a police officer and a man is a high-visibility vest attempting to separate them.
Another video showed a large group of male teenagers fighting before running towards the show's promenade, with a large crowd of mostly men chasing after them.
NSW Police told Yahoo News Australia officers were called to the Easter show shortly before 9.30pm on Monday after reports of a large group of people fighting.
A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed most of the people involved in the fight dispersed into the crowd when officers arrived.
An 18-year-old man with a laceration on his shin was treated at the scene before being taken to Concord Hospital for further treatment.
A 17-year-old boy was given first aid for lacerations to his lower legs, but declined to be taken to hospital.
Neither of the males provided statements to police.
Investigations are continuing.
Yahoo News Australia has contacted the Sydney Royal Easter Show for comment.
