The Wiggles will perform a charity concert to raise money for the family of Julian Cadman.

Colourful kids group the Wiggles will perform a charity concert to raise funds for the family of Sydney schoolboy Julian Cadman who was killed in the Barcelona terror attack.

Julian died and his mother Jumarie was left hospitalised in a critical condition following the Las Ramblas terror attack in Barcelona in mid-August.

The Wiggles, in a statement on Facebook, revealed long-serving blue Wiggle Anthony has a personal connection to the Cadman family.

"Anthony and his family grew up across the road from Julian's grandparents and Anthony and his six brothers and sisters attended Julian's school, St Bernadette's, in Lalor Park," the statement said.

"All ticket sales will be donated to the Cadman family whose lives have been devastated by this tragedy."

There'll be two shows at the Evan Theatre at the Penrith Panthers club on September 12.

Separately a special family day "In Memory of our Karate Kid" is being organised by Prodigy Martial Arts Australia in Sydney's west - where Julian trained - to raise funds.

It will be held in Seven Hills on Saturday.

Family friend Scott Bowman has also established a GoFundMe page which, as of Thursday evening, had raised more than $240,000 for the Cadmans.
