Who is in the Great British Bake Off final?
The Bake Off 2024 finalists will battle out to be named Star Baker one final time.
The Great British Bake Off series 15 final will air on Channel 4 at 8pm Tuesday, 26 November, with three bakers left standing from the original 12 who entered the tent.
Christiaan, Dylan, and Georgie have all impressed the judges with their baking skills over the course of the series, so it's going to be another nail-biting finale.
It's been a chaotic series of the Channel 4 baking competition with host Alison Hammond falling backwards of a work bench, co-presenter Noel Fielding smashing a contestant's bowl of caramel during a technical challenge and one episode in which two contestants collapsed in the tent. Not to mention a flurry of cheeky innuendos from Hammond.
But after Patisserie Week one last baker was sent home by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith as only three contestants can go through to the final to win the much-desired crystal cake stand.
The Great British Bake Off 2024 finalists
Christiaan de Vries
Age: 33
From: London
Occupation: Menswear designer
Netherlands-born fashion designer Christiaan was the bookmakers favourite to win the competition at the start of the series. His presentation has been consistently impressive, thanks to his eye for design, and he has pushed boundaries with his experimental flavours, never being at risk of being sent home. But despite all this he had not been Star Baker before the semi-final. Announcing his Star Baker title Hammond said: "Finally! The bride."
For the semi-final showstopper the bakers had to make entremets - fruit mousse that look like the fruit they are flavoured with. Ever-ambitious Christiaan made a standing biscuit cake to hang his sour apple entremets on. Leith called it "staggeringly beautiful" and told him "I don't think you've put a foot wrong."
Christiaan has been living in London for seven years and when he's not creating clothes or baking, he loves to work in his vegetable patch. He said of his unusual style: "I think growing up gay made me look for other things which were different."
Dylan Bachelet
Age: 20
From: Buckinghamshire
Occupation: Retail temp
Dylan was the bookies' favourite to win the contest going into the semi-finals. He told the judges: "I want to be a chef right? So this whole thing has been sick! If I made it to the final it would be life-affirming."

He has been Star Baker twice during the competition – first in Bread Week and then in Dessert Week. He has wowed the judges with the likes of his coconut illusion meringue nests, concrete box tiramisu and cat-themed cornucopia. He has also won many fans for his stylish dressing in the tent, including various stand-out headwear. His head scarfs have drawn comparisons with Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean and his beret in Caramel Week was likened to mouse Fievel in Disney animation An American Tail.
Dylan disappointed the judges with his pastries for the signature challenge in the semi-finals, admitting he had kept the recipes overly simple as he thought they only had two hours for the challenge. But he came first in the technical challenge, making Opera Cake. Hollywood called his avocado entremets "a little work of art," and Leith said his oranges were "lovely too."
Fresh from a gap year in Southeast Asia, Dylan has been inspired to bring lots of different flavours to his bakes. He also draws on his roots for ideas in his recipes, looking to his heritage from his Indian mum and Japanese-Belgian dad. Dylan is a keen skateboarder and loves to paint, including his own designs on his clothes, so look out for some beautiful decoration on his cakes.
Georgie Grasso
Age: 34
From: Carmarthenshire
Occupation: Paediatric nurse
Welsh nurse Georgie almost quit the competition in the semi-finals after messing up the sponge for her Opera Cake during the technical challenge. She declared: "I'm done! I'm just going to stand here until it's finished." But after a pep-talk from Alison Hammond, she agreed to keep trying and remake her sponge. Hammond told her: "You've got this a million per cent I'm begging you to get back in there. You'll kick yourself. Get out of this space and go back to where Georgie. You've got this, right?!" Georgie went back to her bench and tried again. But she did still come last in the technical challenge.
Hollywood told her her entremets basket of blackberries and lemon looked "amazing" and he loved the boozy kick in her fruit. He said: "It's just a delicious thing to eat."
The mother-of-three, who has ADHD, has been Star Baker twice during the series – in Caramel Week and in the 70s themed quarter-final, when she delighted Hollywood and Leith with her ornately decorated gateau.
Georgie lives in a farmhouse where she cares for many animals, including a hen called Fanny, who inspired her first showstopper cake. But she still finds the time to forage for food in the fields and hedgerows nearby, and takes inspiration from her Italian roots as well as her travels.
Who didn't make the final?
Gill Howard
"Proud Lancashire lass" Gill admitted that patisserie was not her forte. She told Fielding: "It's not something I do on a regular basis. It's a bit faffy." Category manager Gill made it to the semi-final with her simple but well-executed classic bakes. She really came into her own in Pastry Week, winning Star Baker.
For the semi-final showstopper Gill made strawberry entremets. She said: "Strawberries are small so I'm hoping that will show finesse." Hollywood called them "Little exquisite balls of strawberry." But she said afterwards: "I'm definitely not a shoe-in for the final."
Being sent home she said: "At quite right too! Patisserie got me, but I can't be sad. I've had the absolute best time. Brilliant, can't be sad." Hollywood said: " It wasn't the fact that Jill messed up, it's just that everybody else was that little bit better."
