With pandemic restrictions on physical travel locally and abroad in most of the world, social media has taken an even bigger role in connecting people and disseminating information. 

But where is it being used positively and effectively, and when does it flop? 

Dr. Naheed Dosani, a palliative care physician in Ontario, has been using TikTok among other platforms to educate people about the novel coronavirus during the pandemic.
