WGA East Announces 2024 Council Election Results
The WGA East announced the results of the 2024 Council election on Thursday, adding several new members to the group.
The council consists of 20 members and five officers, 13 of which are newly elected this year. Here are the results:

Sara David has been elected Vice President of the Online Media sector.
Beth Godvik has been elected Vice President of the Broadcast/Cable/Streaming News sector.
Monica Lee Bellais, Larry J Cohen, Don P. Hooper, Victoria Pollack, Celine Robinson and Suzanne Weber were elected to serve on the Council representing Film/TV/Streaming members.
Susan Rinkunas and Jessica Schulberg were elected to serve on the Council representing Online Media members.
Justin DiLauro, Gail Lee and Phil Pilato were elected to serve on the Council representing Broadcast/Cable/Streaming News members.
According to the WGAE, there was a mixed bag of voter turnout, including 14.23% for the Film/TV/Streaming sector and just 6.3% for online media. In Broadcast/Cable/Streaming News, votes were cast by 11.07% of eligible voters.
